Release to takeoff.

The time has come – I’ve graduated from ‘freelancer’ to ‘entrepreneur’ this week.

*cue trumpets and hand claps*

I’ve officially made myself a business; the paperwork is in motion and I’m pinching myself as I ride this roller coaster along. Was it that hard to get to this point? Not particularly. I’m realizing now the hardest part was letting go of the ‘can’t‘ and the ‘someday‘ – to really understand that card I’ve been holding on to for years that reads, “Leap and the net will appear.”

Not to sound like a clichéd talking head, but it’s true – a lot can happen when you choose to let go of what’s holding you back – which most of the time ends up being yourself.

Release to takeoff.

Making the leap itself was only the first step. Now that that’s out-of-the-way, onto future victories, hurdles, learning and growth!

“The pessimist complains about the wind;
the optimist expects it to change;
the realist adjusts the sails.”
